Temple of Nobanian

The temple of Nobanian is the largest temple in Silvermere. It is pictured above as seen from the Silver River.

Although dedicated to the patron saint of the city, the temple has instituted an open-faith policy that allows all worshippers of good-aligned gods to use the space as a place of refuge and spiritual growth.

The primary altar is adorned with statues and murals of Nobanian, who is generally depicted as a lion leading his armies in to battle. Nobanian is the god of wealth, nobility, honor, and courage.

It is widely believed that Nobanian personally intervened in the Great Wars that led to the founding of Silvermere approximately 1,500 years ago. The victorious settlers claimed that, in the midst of battle, a bright flash of light roared out of the sky and took the form of a vicious lion who devoured the attacking goblins, orcs, and ogres with an unending appetite.
